I try to capture the delight and complexity of moments large and small.

From a still life that zooms in on the sun playing in the crevices of a crystal vase to a glimpse down a time-weathered alley in a Portuguese town, I invite the viewer to pause and take a second look at the ordinary, to allow the ordinary become extraordinary.

Bringing together seemingly disparate subjects and styles, my works are united by a sense of joyful observation and the belief that there is beauty to be found on far-flung travels — and in one’s own backyard.
